If I held you in my arms and loved you, would you know my heart had been broken? Would you miss the steady pulse and surrender to the fracture? Would you let me love you if you knew my heart had been broken? Would you remember animals others have forsaken make the most adoring pets? ♥

Magnificat

Karl my beautiful cat was caught in a trap and they put him to sleep and they took off his leg and when he awoke he only had three, because he lay in the trap for days and they saw the leg was dead, but he lived, my beautiful cat named Karl. He wants to help me write this. He keeps pushing the pen with his nose. “What do you want to tell them, Karl? What? Are you sure? OK, I’ll see if I can make them understand.” Karl says, “The secret of happiness is purring with three, not meowing for one.” ♥
